After lots of research I believe I will get the My device manager says my dvd drive is a mat****a UJ8AE1 but I pulled it out and it has Panasonic on it, Calipers measures just a little over 1/2 inch. Please report back which you choose and how it works :)

Reaper22, nice find, I had been looking for one too, I have the UJ160 in my JH, which is a BD-R DVD-RW - I assume you want to write Blu-ray's - just so you know - it takes *forever* to write a full 50GB at 6x :)

Was wunder'n if someone could tell me the blu-ray brand and model number that is in their G750JZ, Asus is out of them in their store and they want $145 and they show a model number Blu-ray Burner Super Multi Combo Drive (UJ240), They do not say what brand, I found a Panasonic on amazon with the model UJ240 for $55 and do you think this would fit?
